In this 2020 that is being atypical for everyone, we are driven by the belief that the path is forward and we continue to work on the innovation and versatility of our turbo solutions.
In order to surpass the current performance of our Seat Ibiza Cupra and to test a different solution for this model, we built a Compound supercharging system (see graphic doc) a project that reaches the expressive 403CV and 730NM without nitro.
A project that involved several hours of research, technical discussion, physical work and above all the total dedication of all our mechanics involved and also of our partner in reprogramming, TechDynamics.
This car was already prepared, it was equipped with a GTD2062VKR and returned power values of about 330CV.
We emphasize that both in the previous project and in this compound solution the entire development was built in such a way that nothing in the physical structure of the car had to be altered or cut for the assembly of the compound (the application was achieved in place of the original turbo) only the battery it had to be moved to the boot.

The real potential of this project had the opportunity to be tested at the Estoril Circuit on the 21st of June, on an Estoril Experience Day, a trackday by the CRM Motorsport organization. The truth is that despite the hours of testing that he spent in dyno always surprising both in values and in response, the real sensation and flavor of victory could only be verified on the track, the right place for more sporty driving.
We consider that the behavior of the car on the track was a success in terms of all the changes made within the scope of this project, unfortunately we registered an incident with an original part from the manufacturer, in this case it was the part that tightens the original exchanger, replaced here by the wafer of the oil cooler (see graphic doc). Fortunately possible to solve at the moment and allowing us to return to the track in the afternoon sessions.
We believe that it would have been impossible to foresee this failure, but we want to take the opportunity to leave here an explanation and our most sincere apologies both to the organization and to the other participants who left in some way injured by the lost time of the session and the inconvenience caused on the track. The idea was to record 0 incidents as will be logical, but unfortunately we were unable to do so.
However, we continue to work on the development of new turbo solutions, more efficient and more fun, so we inform you that the work on this project has not yet been completed, more physical and electronic upgrades will be made to further increase these values, the performance and reliability of this car!
